Dear son ,

I am writing this to you because of 3 reasons

3. What is written is my own personal bitter experiences that perhaps could save you a lot of unnecessary heartaches. Remember the following as you go through life

1. Do not bear grudge towards those who are not good to you. No one has the responsibility of treating you well, except your mother and I.
To those who are good to you, you have to treasure it and be thankful, and ALSO you have to be cautious, because, everyone has a motive for every move. When a person is good to you, it does not mean he really likes you. You have to be careful, don't hastily regard him as a real friend.

2. No one is indispensable, nothing is in the world that you must possess.
Once you understand this idea, it would be easier for you to go through life when people around you don't want you anymore, or when you lose what/who you love most.

3.Life is short.
When you waste your life today, tomorrow you would find that life is leaving you. The earlier you treasure your life, the better you enjoy life.

4.Love is but a transient feeling, and this feeling would fade with time and with one's mood. If your so called loved one leaves you, be patient, time will wash away your aches and sadness.
Don't over exaggerate the beauty and sweetness of love, and don't over exaggerate the sadness of falling out of love.

5.A lot of successful people did not receive a good education, that does not mean that you can be successful by not studying hard! Whatever knowledge you gain is your weapon in life.

“Are you pure?” asked the guy who came to see Seema for marriage. “Pure????” Seema couldn’t get his question. “Pure as in untouched?” he clarified. Seema now understood what he wanted to ask. “What are you looking for a girl to marry or ghee?” she replied agitated by such a question. He was shocked at such a reply, but before he could say anything. Seema continued, “Well you can say if there was an exam about ‘purity’ I wouldn’t top it!” His family left. Next day he rang up Seema’s dad and told him that he cannot marry Seema as she is a girl with low morals. Bang on!

Welcome to the progressive India where we claim to be modern people but still make Virginity a base to check a girl’s morals or her capability to become a good wife. Today when we claim that women have an equal status in the society with that of men, we still are under the orthodox views of using a white bed sheet on the first night of marriage just to check the bride’s virginity!!! The guy may himself have slept with number of girls but he wants a “pure”, “untouched” girl as a wife. Why?

Answer- just to satisfy his male ego that the girl he is going to spend his life with has been and will be only his “possession”. If today a girl loses her virginity with a guy she loves truly but the guy turns out to be a cheat then she is tagged as a “slut”, “characterless girl” ; MIND YOU these being the most decent words I can pen down ,else there are a million more worse words in our mother tongue vocabulary. I ask what is the mistake of the girl? She loved a guy? She slept with someone she thought she would marry? Or, she now has lost her purity which would satisfy her to-be husband’s male ego and make him believe that she is fit to be his wife! And again no answers I could get! I completely support the fact that we Indians should not give up on our morals and accept everything that westernisation gives us but I wonder how can a biological wall in the girl’s body by breaking decide the level of her morals? I mean Seema could have been a great wife, she was marrying the guy her parents chose, maybe she had a bad past… But all that was seen was that she wasn’t pure! L And I am forced to wonder that what would happen to those rape victims?

Who would marr those girls? Moreover a girl from a sports background, has always been told by those orthodox distant relatives to Quit it, why? because playing may result in breakage of the “moral wall”!! “ “Urggghhh ”, that’s what I have always thought after hearing that!! Yes, I am also a girl, an Indian girl, who values her morals, for whom her “izzat” is priceless, who has always dreamt of her “raajkumar” coming on a white horse to marry her, and who has always planned her wedding dress! But I am also a girl who belongs to the globalized world, interacts with the opposite sex, loves, has break ups, overcomes them and smiles again and no one has a right to tag me any thing for that reason! I just request you that next time you go looking for a girl for marriage, search for a true heart and not something like “pure ghee”, because she ‘s gonna be your life partner and not your meal to satisfy your hunger of ego.

When you look at a beautiful girl coming dressed in a red lehanga leaving her world behind, to become a part of your world, accept her, make her life a bed of roses rather than testing her loyalty by making her lay down on a bed with white bed sheet because true love will make your marriage successful, her “purity” won’t.

கொச்சி துறைமுகத்தில் இக்கப்பல் சுத்தம் செய்யப்பட்டபோது அதில் எந்தப் பொருளும் இல்லை என்று சான்றளிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில், தற்போது இக்கப்பலில் 31 துப்பாக்கிகளும் 1500 ரவைகளும் எவ்வாறு வந்தன, எங்கிருந்து எதற்காகப் பெறப்பட்டன என்பதற்கு இவர்கள் விளக்கம் அளிக்க மறுக்கிறார்கள். கடற்கொள்ளை நடக்கக்கூடிய இந்தியப் பெருங்கடல் பகுதியில், எந்த வணிகக் கப்பலுக்கு பாதுகாப்பாக வந்தார்கள் என்கின்ற பதிவேட்டை அளிக்க மறுக்கும் ஊழியர்களும் இந்தக் கப்பலும் நிச்சயமாக சட்டவிரோதச் செயலில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர் என்பதைச் சொல்லித் தெரிய வேண்டியதில்லை.

மார்க்ஸ் எனும் மாமனிதர்

 உலகின் தலைசிறந்த காதல், நட்பு, சித்தாந்தம் எல்லாம் ஒரே ஒரு மனிதன் வசம் என்றால், மார்க்ஸுக்குதான் அப்பெருமை.

போராட்டம், வறுமை, வலிகள், பசி இவையே வாழ்க்கையின் ஒவ்வொரு அங்குலத்திலும் நிறைந்திருந்தபொழுது எளியவர்களும், பாட்டாளிகளும் எப்படி துன்பத்தில் இருந்து விடுதலை பெறுவது என ஓயாமல் சிந்தித்த அசாதாரணமான மனிதர் அவர்.


ஜெர்மனியில் மே - 5,1818இல் பிறந்த மார்க்ஸுக்கு அவரின் அப்பா எல்லையற்ற சுதந்திரம் தந்தார். மகனின் போக்கிலேயே இருக்க விட்டார். மார்க்ஸ் இறக்கும் வரை அப்பாவின் புகைப்படம் சட்டைப்பையில் இருக்கிற அளவுக்கு இருவருக்குமான பந்தம் உறுதியானது.

தத்துவஞானி ஹெகலை ஆதரித்த குழுவில் தன்னையும் இணைத்துக்கொண்ட மார்க்ஸ், மதத்தை மறுத்தார். மதம் என்பது மனிதத்தன்மை அற்றது, அது போதைப்பொருளை போன்றது என கடுமையான விமர்சனங்களை வைத்தார். ஷேக்ஸ்பியர், கதே என எண்ணற்ற இலக்கிய ஆளுமைகளின் எழுத்துக்களில் ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்த அண்டை வீட்டு நண்பரிடம் அடிக்கடி உரையாடும் பொழுதுதான் அவரைவிட ஏழு வயது முதிர்ந்த ஜென்னியிடம் காதல் பூத்தது.

கரடுமுரடான சுபாவம் கொண்ட, ஏழ்மையில் உழன்ற மார்க்ஸை அரச குல நங்கையான ஜென்னி மனதார நேசித்தார். அவர்களின் காதல் பல வருடங்கள் காத்திருப்புக்கு பின் கனிந்தது. அப்பொழுதுதான் மார்க்ஸ் ஒரு பத்திரிகையின் ஆசிரியர் ஆகியிருந்தார். அவரின் எழுத்துகள் பாட்டாளிகள் எப்படி முதலாளிகளால் சுரண்டப்படுகிறார்கள் என தெளிவுப்படுத்தின. எப்படி சிலரிடம் செல்வம் தேங்கி கிடக்கிறது என்பதையும் விளக்கினார். எல்லாவித அடக்குமுறைகளையும் பாட்டாளிகள் தகர்த்தெறிய ஒன்று சேர வேண்டும் என அவரின் எழுத்துகளின் மூலம் உத்வேகப்படுத்தினார்.

பிரஷ்ய அரசு நாடு கடத்தியது. இவரின் சிந்தனை வேகத்தை பார்த்து பிரான்ஸ் அரசு ஒரு நாளுக்குள் வெளியேற வேண்டும் என்றது. பெல்ஜியத்தில் போய் குடியேறினார் மார்க்ஸ். நிலைமை இன்னமும் மோசம். எல்லா இடங்களுக்கும் ஜென்னி புன்னகை மாறாமல் உடன் வந்தார். ஒரு முறை விபசார விடுதியில் ஒரு நள்ளிரவு முழுக்க சந்தேகப்பட்டு போலிஸ் அடைத்துவைத்த பொழுதுகூட சின்ன முகச்சுளிப்பை கூட மார்க்ஸை நோக்கி காட்டாத மங்கை அவர்.

எங்கெல்ஸை ஏற்கெனவே ஒரு முறை சந்தித்திருந்த மார்க்ஸ் மீண்டுமொரு முறை சந்தித்த பொழுது எண்ணற்ற தளங்களில் தங்களின் சிந்தனை ஒத்திருப்பதை கண்டார். இவரைக் காப்பதை தன் வாழ்நாள் கடமையாக செய்தார் ஏங்கல்ஸ். வருடத்திற்கு ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தொகையை அனுப்பிக்கொண்டே இருந்தார்.

இங்கிலாந்தின் நூலகங்களில் தவங்கிடந்து மூலதனத்தை உருவாக்கினார்கள். ஒரு பொருளை நீங்கள் வாங்குகிறீர்கள் என்றால், அதற்கு ஒரு விலை தந்தே அதை வாங்குவீர்கள். அந்தப் பொருளை பல்வேறு துன்பங்களுக்கு உள்ளாகி தயாரிக்கும் தொழிலாளிக்கு நீங்கள் கொடுக்கும் பணம் போய் சேர்கிறதா என்றால் இல்லை - மூலதனத்தை போட்ட முதலாளி ஒட்டுமொத்த லாபத்துக்கும் சொந்தக்காரர் ஆகிறார்.

அப்படியில்லாமல் மூலத்தை உழைக்கிறவனுக்கு பிரித்து தரவேண்டும் என்பதே அதன் சாரம். உலகின் பொருளாதரத்தை பற்றி மார்க்ஸ் எழுதிய காலத்தில் வீட்டு நிலைமை ஏகத்துக்கும் மோசமானது. பிள்ளைகள் மாண்டு போனார்கள்.

"பிறந்தபொழுது உனக்கு தொட்டில் கட்ட காசில்லை; இப்பொழுது அடக்கம் செய்ய காசில்லை!" என ஜென்னி கண்ணீர் விடுகிற அளவுக்கு நிலைமை மோசம்... பசியால் நொடிந்துபோய் மார்பிலிருந்து ரத்தம் சொட்ட பிள்ளைக்கு பாலூட்டிய கொடுமையிலும் மார்க்ஸை அன்போடு சுருட்டு வாங்கித்தந்து காத்தார் ஜென்னி.

ஜென்னி இறந்த இரண்டு வருடங்களில் ஏற்கெனவே மனதளவில் இறந்து போயிருந்த மார்க்ஸ் மீளாத்துயில் கொண்டுவிட்டார். காரல் மார்க்ஸ் கண்ட கனவான பாட்டாளிகளின் புரட்சி அடுத்த நூற்றாண்டில் பல நாடுகளில் காட்டாற்று வெள்ளம் போல பொங்கிப்பெருகிற்று. சூரியனின் கதிர்கள் போல உலகம் முழுக்க கம்யூனிசம் நீக்கமற மக்களின் சிந்தனையில் புகுந்தது.

வர்க்க பேதமற்ற, பொருளாதார ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகள் இல்லாத உலகை கட்டமைக்கும் அருங்கனவு கண்ட நாயகன் அவர் ஏங்கல்ஸ் வரிகளில்...

சரித்திர மாவீரன் நெப்போலியன்!

தன்னம்பிக்கை கதைகளைத் தனித்தனியாக கேட்பதைவிட நெப்போலியனின் வாழ்க்கையை படித்தால் போதும்.


எளிமையான இத்தாலியில் இருந்து குடிபெயர்ந்த குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தான் நெப்போலியன். ராணுவத்தில் சேர்ந்து கலக்கி எடுத்தான். ஒரு முறை எண்ணற்ற மக்கள் கூடிப் போராடிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். வீரர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை மிகக் குறைவு. கொஞ்சம் மிஞ்சினால் மக்கள் பொங்கி விடுவார்கள். கண்ணாடி பந்துகளை கச்சிதமாக பீரங்கிகளில் பொருத்தி போராட்டக்காரர்கள் மீது செலுத்தினான். உயிர் இழப்பு இல்லாமல் கூட்டம் கலைந்தது.

வெகு சீக்கிரமே படைத் தளபதியாக உயர்ந்தார். ஆஸ்திரியாவின் வசமிருந்த இத்தாலியின் பகுதிகளை பிடித்துக் காண்பித்தான். கிழக்கு தேசங்களை பிடிக்கும் முயற்சியை நெல்சன் தகர்த்தார்.

பயமென்றால் என்னவென்றே அறியாமல் தன்னை வார்த்தெடுத்துக் கொண்ட நெப்போலியன் உருவத்தில் பார்க்க குள்ளமானவர்.

ஒரு முறை போர்க்களத்தில் வென்ற பிறகு வீரர்களை கொண்டாட அனுப்பிவிட்டு நெப்போலியன் தனியாக வேகமாக குதிரையை செலுத்திக்கொண்டு பயணப்பட ஆரம்பித்தான். உற்சாக மிகுதியில் இன்னமும் குதிரையின் வேகத்தை அதிகப்படுத்தும் பொருட்டு கடிவாளத்தை பிடித்து இழுத்தான்.

குதிரையின் வாயில் இருந்து ரத்தம் சொட்டிக்கொண்டே இருந்தது. சிட்டென பறக்க ஆரம்பித்தது. கிடுகிடு பள்ளம் ஒன்று திடீர் என குறுக்கிட்டது. அப்படியே குதித்து விடலாம்; குதிரையால் தாவக்கூடிய தூரத்தைவிட ஒரு ஐந்தடி அதிகமாகவே அகலமாக இருந்தது பள்ளம். பார்த்தான்; வீரனுக்கு அழகு இப்படி சாவதுதான் என எண்ணிக்கொண்டு முடுக்கினான். பள்ளத்தில் குதிரை தாவி வீழ்ந்தபொழுது, அந்த ஐந்தடியை மிதந்து கொண்டு இருக்கும்பொழுதே தாவி அடிகளோடு தப்பித்தான். தன்னை 'விதியின் மனிதன்' என அழைத்துக்கொண்டான்.

நெப்போலியன் பிரெஞ்சு புரட்சியால் நாட்டில் ஏற்பட்டு இருந்த கொதிநிலையை பயன்படுத்திக்கொண்டு ஆட்சியை பிடித்துக்கொண்டான். என்றாலும், முதலில் மூன்று பேர் கொண்ட அமைப்பை கொண்டு ஆள்வது போல பாவ்லா காட்டிவிட்டு ஆட்சிப் பீடம் ஏறினான். தானே மகுடத்தை எடுத்து சூட்டிக்கொண்டான். உலக வரலாற்றில் ஏழை ஒருவரின் மகன் ஒரு மாபெரும் நாட்டின் சக்ரவர்த்தி ஆகிற அற்புதம் அன்றைக்கு நிகழ்ந்தது.

ஒரு நாளைக்கு நான்கு மணி நேரம் மட்டும் உறங்கிய நெப்போலியன் ஆழ்ந்து வாசிக்கிற பழக்கம் உள்ளவன். வாசிப்பே நம்மை பக்குவப்படுத்தும் என்பது அவன் எண்ணம். குள்ளமாக இருந்ததால் அவன் அரசவைக்கு நடந்து வருகிறபொழுது அவன் அணிந்திருக்கும் போர்வாள் உரசி இரத்தின கம்பளங்கள் கிழிந்து போகும். பின் இரும்பால் கம்பளம் வைத்தபொழுது உரசிக்கொண்டு தீப்பொறி பறக்க அரசவைக்கு வருவார்.

அவருக்கு தன்னைவிட இரண்டாண்டுகள் மூத்தவளும், இரண்டு பிள்ளைகளுக்கு தாயுமான ஜோசபின் மீது முதல் பார்வையிலேயே காதல் பூத்தது. அவளை மணம் செய்து கொண்டார். அவருக்காக உலகம் முழுக்க இருந்து ரோஜா மலர் செடிகளை பரிசாக அனுப்பி வைப்பார். அதன் மூலம் உருவான தோட்டம் மிக பிரமாண்டமானது. ஜோசபைனுக்கு நெப்போலியன் எழுதிய காதல் கடிதங்கள் தனிக் காவியம். அவள் பிள்ளை பெற்றுத்தர முடியவில்லை என்று விவாகரத்து செய்த பின்னும் பெரிய மாளிகை கொடுத்து அவளுக்காக கண்ணீர் வடித்தான் நெப்போலியன்.

போர்களில் தொடந்து வென்று கொண்டிருந்த நெப்போலியனின் சொந்த வாழ்க்கை வெகு சிக்கனமானது. ஓரிரு செட் ஆடைகள், தன் அறையில் தன் பதினான்கு ஆண்டுகால சம்பளத்தில் வாங்கிய மேசை, நாற்காலி ஆகியவற்றில்தான் தன் வாழ்க்கையை ஒட்டிய எளிமை விரும்பி அவர். இரண்டு வேளை மட்டுமே எளிமையான உணவு சாப்பிடுவார். அரைக் குவளை காபி மட்டும் இரண்டு அல்லது மூன்று வேளை குடிப்பார். வெகு சுறுசுறுப்பாக இருக்கும் அவனின் சின்னம் தேனீ.

பல நாடுகளை வென்ற அவன் செய்த தவறு ரஷ்யாவின் மீதான படையெடுப்பு. தான் கொண்டு வந்த இங்கிலாந்துடன் வியாபாரம் செய்யக்கூடாது என்கிற கண்ட முறையை ஏற்க மறுத்த ரஷ்யா மீது போர் தொடுத்தான். நாட்டையே துப்புரவாக துடைத்து வைத்திருந்தார்கள் மக்கள். ரஷ்ய குளிர் வாட்டி எடுத்தது. உயிரை அப்படியே உருவி எடுத்தது. பல வீரர்கள் சுருண்டு இறந்தார்கள். ஒன்றுமே இல்லாத மாஸ்கோவை கைப்பற்றினார்கள். பசிக்கு சாப்பிட எதுவுமில்லாமல் குதிரைகளையே வெட்டி உண்ணவேண்டிய நிலைமை. வெறிச்சோடி போன மாஸ்கோவின் தெருக்கள்தான் காத்துக்கொண்டு இருந்தன.

இருந்ததில் பாதி படையை காவு கொடுத்துவிட்டு நெப்போலியன் இன்றுதான் பின்வாங்கினார். அதற்கு பின் நடைபெற்ற போரில் தோற்று எல்பா தீவில் சிறை வைக்கப்பட்டார் அவர். "ரஷ்யக் குளிர் நெப்போலியனை தோற்கடித்தது!"என வரலாறு எள்ளி நகையாடுகிறது.

அப்பொழுது நடந்த ஒரு சம்பவம். ரஷ்ய படைகளின் கண்ணில்பட்டு தப்ப முயன்று ஒரு தையல்காரனிடம் சரண் புகுந்தார் நெப்போலியன். "என்னை காட்டிகொடுக்காவிட்டால் மூன்று வரங்கள் தருகிறேன்!"என்று சொல்லிவிட்டு ஒரு பெரிய துணிமூட்டைக்குள் ஒளிந்துகொண்டார் நெப்போலியன். ரஷ்ய படைகள் வந்தன. துணிமூட்டைக்குள் ஜஸ் லைக் தட் என கத்திகளை சொருகி பார்த்தார்கள். ஆனால் ஒன்றும் ஆகாமல் நெப்ஸ் தப்பிவிட்டார். அதற்கு பின் பிரெஞ்சு படைகள் வந்தன. வரங்களை கேட்க சொன்னார் நெப்போலியன்.

"முதலில் கடையின் ஓட்டை சரி செய்ய வேண்டும்". "முடிந்தது" என்றார் நெப்ஸ். "அடுத்து" என கம்பீரமாக கேட்க, "எதிர்க்கடை தையல்காரனை நாடு கடத்தி விடுங்கள் - ஒரே தொழில் போட்டி" எனவும் சிரித்துக்கொண்டே, "சரி! அடுத்து?"எனக் கேட்க நீங்கள் அந்த துணிமூட்டைக்குள் இருக்கும்பொழுது கத்தியால் குத்தினப்ப எப்படி ஃபீல் பண்ணிங்கனு தெரிஞ்சாகணும்!" "ஹ்ம்ம்" என்ற நெப்போலியன்...

"கிளம்புங்கள்!" என படைகளிடம் சொல்லிவிட்டு - வெளியேறும் பொழுது சடக்கென்று திரும்பி, படை வீரனை பார்த்து தையல்காரனின் தலையில் படக்கென்று துப்பாக்கியை வைக்கச்சொல்லி ஒன்று இரண்டு மூன்று என்றதும் சுட்டுவிடு என்றதும், துப்பாக்கி ஓட்டை தையல்காரன் தலையில் பொய் ஒட்டிகொண்டது. "ஒன்...டூ...த்ரீ!" என்றதும் அதீத மௌனம், குண்டு வெடிக்கவில்லை வியர்த்துப்போன தையல்காரனை பார்த்து "இப்படிதான் இருந்தது எனக்கு!" என்றுவிட்டு கிளம்பினான் நெப்போலியன். அந்த அளவுக்கு நகைச்சுவை உணர்வும் அவனிடம் இருந்தது.

எல்பாவில் இருந்து தப்பி வந்தபொழுது மக்கள் மீண்டும் அவன் பின் அணிவகுத்தார்கள். வாட்டர்லூவில் இறுதிப் போர். ஒய் வடிவத்தில் படைகளை நிலை நிறுத்தினான். போரில் வென்று விடுவோம் என்கிற நம்பிக்கை அவனுக்கு இருந்தது. அதற்கு முந்தைய நாள் நல்ல மழை பெய்தது. இவனுக்கு காய்ச்சல் வேறு; சொன்ன உத்தரவுகள் தப்பு தப்பாக வீரர்களின் காதுகளில் விழ தோல்வியை தழுவினான் நெப்போலியன். இந்த முறை தப்பிக்க முடியாத ஹெலினா தீவில் கொண்டு போய் தனிமைச் சிறை வைத்தார்கள்.

நாற்பது போர்கள் கண்ட நெப்போலியன் கொண்டு வந்த கோட் ஆப் நெப்போலியன் இன்றைக்கும் பின்பற்றப்படும் அருமையான சட்டம். எல்லா மக்களுக்கும் சம உரிமை வழங்கும் அற்புதம் அது. எளிமையான மொழியில் அவை எழுதப்பட்டு இருந்தன. நில உடைமை முறையை வேரறுத்து மக்களுக்கு நிலங்களை பிரித்து கொடுத்தான். மதத்தை அரசியலில் இருந்து ஒதுக்கி வைத்தார். நெப்போலியன் காலத்தில் அறிவியலுக்கும் முக்கியத்துவம் தரப்பட்டது. வோல்டாவை பார்த்து நீங்கள் வருடத்துக்கு ஒரு முறை அரசவைக்கு வந்தால்கூட போதும் என்கிற அளவுக்கு நெப்போலியன் தீராத வாசிப்பு ஆர்வம் கொண்டவன்.

எல்பாவில் சிறைவைக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தபொழுது நெப்போலியனுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்ட சிறிய அறையில் அவன் எதை தெரியுமா வைத்திருந்தான்? எல்லா அடுக்குகளிலும் மொத்தமாக மூவாயிரம் புத்தகங்களை வைத்திருந்தான். அவன் மரணத்துக்கு பிறகு ஆங்கில அரசே அவனை மாவீரன் என்று ஏற்றுக்கொண்டது.

ஒரு சம்பவத்தோடு முடித்தால் நன்றாக இருக்கும். நெப்போலியனின் படைத் தளபதி வேகமாக ஓடி வந்தார். கண்களில் கலக்கம். "அரசே! எதிரி நாட்டுப் படைகள் எல்லாப் பக்கமும் சுற்றி வளைத்து விட்டார்கள். அவ்வளவு தான்!" என்றபொழுது நெப்போலியன், "அதனால் என்ன? எல்லா பக்கமும் சுடலாம் என சந்தோசப்படுங்கள்" என்றார்.

"முடியாது என்பது முட்டாள்களின் அகராதியில் உள்ள வார்த்தை" என்ற குள்ளமான உருவம் கொண்ட வானுயர தன் உழைப்பால் எளிய குடும்பத்தில் இருந்து பேரரசனாக உயர்ந்த நெப்போலியனின் நினைவு நாள் இன்று (மே 5). ஐம்பாதாண்டு காலம் மட்டுமே வாழ்ந்த தனி சரித்திரம் அவன்.

அவமானம் முதல்வருக்கல்ல!

தேசிய வளர்ச்சிக் குழுக் கூட்டத்தைக் கூட்டுவது என்பது ஏதோ சம்பிரதாயத்துக்காகவோ, பேசிக் கலைவதற்காகவோ அல்ல. முக்கியமான தேசியப் பிரச்னைகளையும், மாநிலங்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் பிரச்னைகளையும் அலசுவதற்காக. அப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு கூட்டத்தைப் பட்டிமன்றம் நடத்துவதுபோல ஆளுக்குப் பத்து நிமிடம் பேசி முடித்து விடுங்கள் என்று சொல்வது, அதுவும் மக்களால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மாநில முதல்வர்களைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துவது அதிர்ச்சியளிக்கிறது.

இந்தியாவின் அனைத்து மாநில முதல்வர்கள் மற்றும் தலைமைச் செயலர்கள் பங்கேற்ற இக்கூட்டத்தில் காங்கிரஸ் ஆளும் மாநில முதல்வர்களுக்கும் மற்றவர்களுக்கும் பாரபட்சம் காட்டவில்லை. அனைவருக்கும் 10 நிமிடங்கள் மட்டுமே ஒதுக்கப்பட்டன என்று மத்திய அரசு சொல்வது நியாயமாகத் தெரியவில்லை. பிரச்னைகளை மட்டுமே சந்தித்து வரும் தமிழகம் போன்ற ஒரு மாநிலத்துக்கு 10 நிமிடம் போதாது. கோவா, திரிபுரா போன்ற மாநிலங்களுக்கும் 10 நிமிடம் தமிழகத்துக்கும் பத்து நிமிடமா?
பிரதமர் பேசி முடித்தவுடன் அடுத்த நபராக, தமிழக முதல்வருக்கு முன்னுரிமை அளிக்கப்பட்டு, முதலில் பேச அழைக்கப்பட்டார் என்றும் ""இந்த முழுஉரையையும் நான் படித்ததாகக் கருதி சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்'' என்று ஜெயலலிதாவே சொல்லியிருக்கிறார் என்றும் மத்திய அரசின் சார்பில் விளக்கம் கூறுகிறார்கள். இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் ஜெயலலிதா முழுமையாகப் பேச முடியாத போதிலும் அவரது உரை முழுமையாக ஏற்கப்பட்டு, அதன் மூலம் தமிழகத்தின் அனைத்துப் பிரச்னைகளையும் உள்வாங்கிக்கொண்டுவிட்டதாகச் சொல்ல முயல்கிறது மத்திய அரசு. அப்படியானால், தமிழக முதல்வர் தில்லி வந்து இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் கலந்துகொண்டுதான் இந்த உரையை அளிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதில்லையே! வெறும் தொலைநகல் மூலம் அனுப்பினாலே போதுமே, அவரை ஏன் நேரில் வரச்சொல்லி அழைத்து அவமானப்படுத்த வேண்டும்?
எல்லா மாநில முதல்வர்கள் முன்பாகவும் தமிழகத்தின் பிரச்னைகளைப் பேசும்போதுதான், இந்தியாவின் தென்கோடியில் உள்ள ஒரு மாநிலம் எந்த அளவுக்கு மோசமான சிக்கல்களை எதிர்கொண்டுள்ளது என்பதை மற்ற மாநில முதல்வர்களும் உணர முடியும். வெறும் உரையை படித்ததாகக் கருதி சேர்த்துக்கொள்வதால், எந்த மாநில முதல்வருக்கும் மற்ற மாநில அதிகாரிகளுக்கும் தமிழகத்தின் பிரச்னையை உள்வாங்க இயலாது.
இன்றைய தினம் இந்தியாவில் மிகப்பெரும் பிரச்னைகளை எதிர்கொண்டுள்ள ஒரே மாநிலம் தமிழ்நாடு மட்டுமே! மத்திய அரசினால் முழுக்க முழுக்கப் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டுவரும் மாநிலமும் தமிழ்நாடு மட்டுமே. அதேநேரத்தில், இந்திய அரசின் கஜானாவுக்கு கணிசமான பங்களிப்பை வழங்கும் மாநிலம் தமிழகம். சொல்லப் போனால் தமிழகத்திற்கு மத்திய அரசு ஆண்டுதோறும் வழங்கும் நிதி ஒதுக்கீட்டையும்விட தமிழகம் பல்வேறு வரிகள் மூலம் மத்தியத் தொகுப்புக்கு வழங்கும் பங்களிப்பு அதிகம் என்பதை மறந்து விடலாகாது.

• காவிரிப் பிரச்னையில் மிக மோசமாக வஞ்சிக்கப்பட்ட மாநிலம் தமிழ்நாடு. காவிரி நீரை பிச்சை கேட்பது போலத்தான் கேட்டுப்பெற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இந்த விஷயத்தில் கர்நாடக மாநில அரசைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தவோ, அணைகளைத் தன் பொறுப்பில் ஏற்று நீரைப் பகிர்ந்தளிக்கவோ மத்திய அரசு முனைப்பு காட்டவில்லை.
• முல்லைப்பெரியாறு அணையிலும் இதே நிலைதான். அணை பலமாக இருக்கிறது என்று நீதிபதி ஆனந்த் தலைமையிலான குழு அறிக்கை அளித்தும் கேரள அரசு தொடர்ந்து எதிர்ப்பான நிலையை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது. இதற்குக் காரணம், கேரளத்தில் ஆளும் கட்சியாக இருக்கும் காங்கிரஸ், மத்தியில் தங்கள் ஆட்சி நடைபெறுகிறது என்று நம்புவதுதான்.
• தமிழ்நாட்டில் தொழில்நசிவுக்குக் காரணமாக மின்பற்றாக்குறை உள்ளது. திமுக ஆட்சியின்போது கிடைத்த மின்சாரத்தைவிடக் குறைவான மின்சாரம் மத்திய தொகுப்பில் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. அதிக மின்சாரம் கேட்டால், மின்பாதை இல்லை என்கிறார்கள். சரி, தமிழ்நாட்டில் மத்திய அரசின் நிறுவனங்கள் உற்பத்தி செய்யும் மின்சாரம் (2830 மெகாவாட்) முழுவதையும் தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கே கொடுங்கள் என்று கேட்டால் பதிலே இல்லை. 
• அரசு கேபிள் டி.வி. டிஜிட்டல் மய உரிமம் குறித்து கடிதம் எழுதியாகிவிட்டது. இந்த எளிய உரிமம் கொடுக்க மத்திய அரசு தயங்கக் காரணம் என்ன என்பதைத் தமிழக முதல்வரும் வெளிப்படையாகப் பேசிவிட்டார். பத்திரிகைகளும் எழுதிவிட்டன. ஆனாலும் மத்திய அரசு அசைந்து கொடுப்பதாகத் தெரியவில்லை. இதையெல்லாம் பார்க்கும்போது, தமிழக அரசை, தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மாநில அரசாகப் பார்க்காமல் அதிமுக ஆட்சி என்பதாக மட்டுமே பார்க்கிறது மத்திய அரசு என்றுதானே நாம் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள முடியும்.

தமிழக முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா பத்திரிகையாளர்களிடம் கூறியிருப்பதுபோல, இப்படி மணி அடித்து தேசிய வளர்ச்சிக் குழுக் கூட்டம் ஒன்றை இதுவரை இருந்த எந்த ஆட்சியும் நடத்தியதில்லை. மக்களால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படாத பிரதமர் ஒருவர் தலைமையில் நடக்கும் கூட்டத்தில், மக்களின் ஏகோபித்த ஆதரவுடன் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மாநில அரசின் முதல்வர், தனது மாநிலத்தின் பிரச்னைகளை தேசிய அளவில் கொண்டு செல்ல அனுமதிக்கப்படவில்லை என்றால் அது அந்த மாநிலத்திற்கு இழைக்கப்படும் அநீதி; மக்களாட்சியின் முரண்.

அவமானம் முதல்வருக்கல்ல, தமிழகத்துக்கு! முதல்வரின் வெளிநடப்புக்குக் காரணம் கோபமும் ஆத்திரமுமல்ல. தமிழர்களுக்கே உரித்தான தன்மான உணர்வு!

ஏன் இந்த பெயர் வந்தது?

எதற்காக கூப்பிடுகிறோம் என்று தெரியாமலே நாம் பெயர்களை அழைக்கிறோம். அதிலும் பெயர்களை மொட்டை போட்டு கொச்சையாவும் அழைக்கிறோம். ஏன் இந்த பெயர் வந்தது?




1. சென்னை - சென்னபசவ நாயக்கன் என்பவன் தான் ஆண்ட பகுதியை 1600 வருடம் வாக்கில் வெறும் 10000 ரூபாய்க்கு கிழக்கிந்திய கம்பனியாரிடம் விற்றுவிட்டாராம். அவர் ஆண்ட பகுதியின் ஞாபகமாய சென்னப் பட்டணம் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட இடம் சென்னையாகி விட்டது.

மதராஸ் :- முகமதியர்கள் பலர் இங்கே பள்ளிவாசல்களை நிறுவி தொழுகை நடத்தியபடி இருந்ததால், மதராஸே என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டது பின் நாளில் மெட்ராஸாகிவிட்டது.

கோடம்பாக்கம் - கோடா பாக் : குதிரைகளும் அதை வளர்ப்பவர்களும் நிறைந்த பகுதியாய் இருந்த இடம் இன்று கோடம்பாக்கம் ஆகிவிட்டது.

மாம்பலம்: மாம்லான் எனும் ஆங்கிலேய கலக்டெர் தங்கியிருந்த இடம் இன்று மாம்பலமாகி விட்டது.

மா அம்பலம் :- ஒரு காலத்தில் மிகப் பெரிய சிவாலயம் இங்கிருந்ததாகவும் அந்த ஆலயம் அடங்கிய பகுதி மா அம்பலம் என வழங்கப் பட்டதாம். இன்றைய க்ருஷ்ணவேணி திரையரங்கமே ஒரு கோவில் மிகப் பெரிய திருக்குளம் என்று சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

சைதாப்பேட்டை: சதயு புரம் : சதயு எனும் மன்னன் 108 சிவாலயங்களை எழுப்பினான். அதில் 108வது சிவாலயம் சதயுபுரத்தில் இருக்கும் திருக்காரணீசன். சதயுபுரம் கூப்பிட வசதியாய் சைதாபேட்டையாகிவிட்டது.

கிண்டி:- ப்ருங்கி முனிவர் தன்னுடைய தவக்காலத்தில் பூஜைக்கான கிண்டியைப் பொருத்திய இடம் இன்று கிண்டியாகிவிட்டது.

பரங்கிமலை:- ப்ருங்கி முனிவர் வழிபட்ட சிவாலயம் இன்றும் பரங்கி மலையில் இருப்பதாகச் சொல்கிறார்கள். சர்ச்சுக்குள் பழைய கோவிலின் கட்டமைப்புகள் இருப்பாதாகச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது (ஆய்வுக்குரியது).

சேத்துப்பட்டு: மண்பாண்டம் செய்யும் குயவர்கள் அதற்கான மண்ணை இந்த பகுதியில் சேறு போல் குழைத்து மாட்டு வண்டியில் எடுத்துச் செல்வார்களாம். சேறு குழைத்த இடம் சேற்றுப்பட்டு.

எழுமூர்: இன்றும் சென்னையில் சூர்யோதயம் விழும் முதலிடம் எழுமூர். பூமி மட்டத்தின் மேல் தளத்தில் உள்ளது. சூரியன் எழுமூர் இன்று எழும்பூராகிவிட்டது. இதற்கு சாட்சி, தாஸப்ரகாஷ் அருகிலுள்ள சந்தில் இருக்கும் சிவனுக்கு எழுமீஸ்வரர் என்று பெயர்.திருநாவுக்கரசரால் வைப்புத் தலமாய் பாடப்பட்ட திருத்தலம்.

ராயபுரம்: பல்லவ மன்னனின் அமைச்சரவையில் இருந்த ராயர்களுக்கு ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட மானியம் ராயர்புரம் இன்று ராயபுரம்.

சிந்தாதரிப்பேட்டை: சின்ன தறிப் பேட்டை : சிறிய அள்விலே தறி வைத்துக்கொண்டு குழந்தைகளுக்கான துணிகளை நெய்த பகுதி இன்று சிந்தாதரிப்பேட்டை.

தண்டையார்பேட்டை : பல்லவ ராஜ்யத்தில் உள்ள கோவில்களின் கைங்கர்ய தொண்டை ப்ரதிபலன் பாராது ஆற்றி வந்த அன்பர்களுக்கான் குடியிருப்புக்கு கொடுக்கப் பட்ட மான்யம் தொண்டையார் புரி இன்று தண்டையார் பேட்டை.

புரசவாக்கம்: புரசைப் பாக்கம்: புரசுக் காடுகள் மண்டியிருந்த பகுதி இன்று புரசவாக்கம்.

அமிஞ்சிகரை: அமைந்தகரை அமர்ந்தகரை: ராமபிரான் (லவகுசர்களிடம் போரிட்டு வெற்றி காண முடியாமல்) அமர்ந்த கூவக்கரை இன்று அமைந்தகரை.

செங்கல்பட்டு: செங்கழுநீர் பட்டு : செங்கழுநீர் பூக்கள் நிறைந்த குளங்களை நிறைய கொண்ட இடம் இன்று செங்கல்பட்டு.

பெருங்களத்தூர் : பெரிய பெரிய குளங்களை தன்னகத்தே கொண்ட விவசாய பூமி இன்று பெரிய குளத்தூர் இன்று பெருங்களத்தூர்.

பல்லாவரம்: பல்லவபுரம் பல்லவர்கள் எழுப்பிய சமணப்பள்ளிகள் உள்ள இடம். அனகாபுத்தூர் அருகே இன்றும் காணலாம்.

பரங்கியர் என ஆங்கிலேயருக்குப் பெயர். St. Thomas Mount -ல் பரங்கிப் படையினர் வசித்ததனால், அது பரங்கிமலையாக வழங்கியிருக்க வேண்டும். மற்றோர் உதாரணம் - பரங்கிப் பேட்டை - Porto Novo - போர்த்துகீசியரின் கோட்டை - கடலூர் அருகிலுள்ளது.

பூந்தமல்லி : பூந்தண் எனும் அசுரனுக்கு ஈசன் மோக்ஷம் கொடுத்த இடம். மல்லிகாடுகள் அடர்ந்த இடம் இன்று பூந்தமல்லி.

நந்தம்பாக்கம்: நந்தர்கள் எனும் வம்சத்தவர்கள் ராமனை வரவேற்ற இடம் இன்று நந்தம்பாக்கம்.

ராமாபுரம்: ராமபிரான் தங்கிய மாஞ்சோலை இன்று ராமாபுரம்.

போரூர்: முருகப்பெருமான் சூரஸம்ஹாரத்திற்கு ஆயுதம் எடுத்த இடம் ன்று போரூர்.

கோவூர்: கோ- காமதேனு பூசித்த சிவாலயம் இன்று கோவூர்.

குன்றத்தூர்: குன்றுகள் நிறைந்த ஊர் (சீக்கிரம் போய் பாருங்க... ஏன்னா மல முழுங்கிங்க புல் டோசரோட காலி பண்ணிக்கிட்டிருக்காங்க).

ஸ்ரீ பெரும் பூதூர்: அசுர பூதங்கள் நிர்மாணம் பண்ணிய சிவாலயபுரி இன்று ஸ்ரீ பெரும்புதூர்.

சுங்குவார் சத்திரம்: பழங்காலத்தில் வரி வசூலித்த டோல்கேட் இன்று சுங்குவார் சத்திரம்.

நந்தனம்:- மா அம்பலத்திலிருந்த சிவாலய நந்தவனம் இருந்த இடம் இன்று நந்தனம். இங்கு பூமியுலிருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்ட நந்தி சிஐடி நகரில் இருக்கிறது.

யானை கவுணி : திருக்குடை வைபவத்தில் எம்பெருமான் யானை போல் ஒடி தாண்டினாராம்.ஒரே சமயத்தில் இரண்டு ரயில்வே கேட்டுகள் போடப்பட்ட பெரிய நுழைவயில் யானகவுணி.

மாதவரம்: மாதவன் ஈசனிடம் வரம் பெற்ற இடம் இன்று மாதவரம். புராதன சிவ்-விஷ்ணு ஆலயங்கள் உள்ளன.

திண்டிவனம் : திந்த்ரினி வனம் ( புளியங்காடு) இன்று திண்டிவனம்.
வடபழநி: பழய பெயர் புலியூர்கோட்டம்.

வளசரவாக்கம்: வள்ளி சேர் பாக்கம்: முருகப் பெருமான் வள்ளியோடு சேர்ந்த இடம் இன்று வளசரவாக்கம். இங்கு 7 அடி முருக விக்ரகம் பூமியிலிருந்து கிடைத்து கோவில் கட்டியிருக்கிறார்கள். எல்லா டீவி சீரியலிலும் தவறாமல் இக்கோவில் வரும்.

ஈக்காட்டுதாங்கல் : ஈர காடு தங்கல் : வருடத்தில் ஒருநாள் திருவல்லிக்கேணி பார்த்தசாரதி பெருமாள் இங்கே ராத்தங்கலுக்கு வருவார். எங்குபார்த்தாலும் தண்ணீரில் மிதக்கும் காட்டிற்கு நடுவே எம்பெருமானின் சோலை இருந்ததாம். இன்று ஸ்வாஹா.......

முகலிவாக்கம் : கோவூர் ஈசனின் க்ரீடம் (மௌளி) இருந்த இடம் மௌளிவாக்கம் இன்று முகலிவாக்கம்.

அயனாவரம்: அயன் (ப்ரஹ்ம்மா பூசித்த சிவன்) வரம் பெற்ற இடம்.

இதுவா கூட்டாட்சி?

மேற்கு வங்க மாநிலத்துக்கு நிதியுதவி அளிப்பதில் மத்திய அரசின் தயாள குணத்துக்கு அளவே இல்லை. இந்த முறை ரூ.16,000 கோடி சிறப்பு நிதி அளிக்கவிருக்கிறது.

 குடியரசுத் தலைவர் வேட்பாளர் குறித்து காங்கிரஸ் தலைவர் சோனியா காந்தியோடு விவாதிப்பதற்காக மேற்கு வங்க முதல்வர் மம்தா பானர்ஜி, கொல்கத்தாவைவிட்டுக் கிளம்பியபோது, அங்குள்ள பத்திரிகைகள் இதைப்பற்றித்தான் எழுதின. "குடியரசுத் தலைவர் வேட்பாளர் குறித்து விவாதிப்பதோடு, மத்திய அரசு அடுத்த மூன்று ஆண்டுகளில் 4 தவணைகளில் வழங்கவுள்ள ரூ.16,000 கோடி குறித்தும் பேசுவார். இந்த சிறப்புநிதியை அமைச்சரவை விரைவில் அங்கீகரிக்கவுள்ளது' என்றுதான் மேற்குவங்கப் பத்திரிகைகள் எழுதின.

 சென்ற ஆண்டுதான் ரூ. 8,750 கோடியைப் பின்தங்கிய மண்டலங்களுக்கான சிறப்பு நிதி என்ற பெயரில் மேற்கு வங்கத்துக்கு மத்திய அரசு அளித்தது. பிரதமர் கிராம சடக் யோஜனா திட்டங்களுக்காக ரூ. 2,000 கோடி கொடுத்தார்கள். இப்போது மூன்று ஆண்டுகளில் நான்கு தவணைகளில் ரூ. 16,000 கோடி நிதி ஒதுக்க மத்திய அரசு சம்மதம் தெரிவித்திருக்கிறது.

 மேற்கு வங்கத்துக்கு எப்படிக் கரங்கள் சிவக்கச் சிவக்க அள்ளிக் கொடுக்கின்றீர்களோ அதேபோன்று உத்தரப் பிரதேச மாநிலத்துக்கும் தர வேண்டும் என்று அம்மாநில முதல்வர் அகிலேஷ் யாதவ் கேட்டிருக்கிறார். காங்கிரஸ் கட்சி ஆளும் கேரள மாநிலமும் கேட்டிருக்கிறது. நிச்சயம் இவர்களது கோரிக்கை பரிசீலிக்கப்படும் என்பதில் சந்தேகம் இல்லை.

 அவர்களுக்கு ஏன் அள்ளிக் கொடுக்கிறீர்கள் என்று நாம் கேட்கவில்லை. ஆனால், தமிழகத்தின் கோரிக்கைகள் மட்டும் ஏன் தொடர்ந்து புறக்கணிக்கப்படுகின்றன என்று கேட்காமல் இருக்கவும் முடியவில்லை. இப்போது, தமிழகத்தில் ஆளும் கட்சியாக இருக்கும் கட்சி மத்திய கூட்டணியில் அங்கம் வகிக்கவில்லை என்பதுகூடக் காரணமாக இருக்குமானால் இந்திய யூனியன், கூட்டாட்சித் தத்துவம் என்கிற வார்த்தைகளுக்கே அர்த்தமில்லாமல் அல்லவா இருக்கிறது.

 வளர்ச்சித் திட்டங்களுக்கான நிதிஒதுக்கீடு ஒரு பக்கம் இருக்கட்டும். "தானே' புயல் நிவாரணத்தில் மத்திய அரசு காட்டிய அக்கறை என்ன? தமிழகத்தில் "தானே' புயல் தாக்கியபோது, விழுப்புரம், கடலூர் மாவட்டங்களில் லட்சக்கணக்கான மரங்களைச் சாய்த்து, வீடுகளை வீழ்த்திப் பெரும் நாசம் செய்தது. 2004-டிசம்பரில் ஆழிப்பேரலை ஏற்படுத்திய பாதிப்பைக் காட்டிலும், 2011 டிசம்பரில் "தானே' புயல் ஏற்படுத்திய பாதிப்பும் பெருநாசமும் மிக அதிகம் என்று மதிப்பிடப்பட்டது.

 தமிழக அரசு ரூ. 5,000 கோடி சேத மதிப்பீடு செய்து, உடனடியாக மத்திய அரசிடம் நிவாரண நிதியுதவி கேட்டது. ஆனால், கிடைக்கவில்லை. ""தமிழக அரசு ரூ.850 கோடி நிவாரண நிதியுதவியை அறிவித்த பின்னர், அதேநாளின் பிற்பகலில் மத்திய அரசு ரூ.500 கோடி நிவாரண நிதியை அறிவித்தது. ஒருவேளை வெட்கப்பட்டு அறிவிக்க நேர்ந்ததோ தெரியாது'' என்று முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா குறிப்பிடும் நிலைமைதான் இருந்தது.

 மேற்கு வங்கத்துக்கு மட்டும் அதிமுக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து திட்டக் கமிஷனில் அதிக நிதி ஒதுக்குவதும், சிறப்பு நிதியைத் தொடர்ந்து ஆண்டுதோறும் பல ஆயிரம் கோடிக்கு அளிப்பதும், மேற்கு வங்கம் பெற்றுள்ள கடன்தொகைக்கு வட்டி செலுத்தாமல் இருக்க அனுமதிப்பதும் என எத்தனை எத்தனை சலுகைகள்!

 நியாயமான ரயில் பயணக் கட்டணத்துக்கு எதிர்ப்புத் தெரிவித்து அடுத்த நாளே அமைச்சரை மாற்றினார் மம்தா. மத்திய அரசு சம்மதித்தது. இப்போது எல்லோருடைய எதிர்ப்புக்கும் இடையில் ரயில்வே சரக்குக் கட்டணத்தை 25% உயர்த்தியுள்ளார் புதிய ரயில்வே அமைச்சர். மத்திய அரசு இதற்கும் சம்மதிக்கிறது.

 தமிழகம் மட்டுமல்ல, பிகார், ஒடிசா ஆகிய மாநிலங்களும் மத்திய அரசின் பாரபட்சமான போக்கை வெளிப்படையாக விமர்சித்து வருகின்றன. அவர்களுக்கும் கேட்ட நிதியுதவி கிடைப்பதில்லை. மேற்கு வங்க மாநிலத்துக்குக் காட்டப்படும் மிகையான சலுகைகள் திரிணமூல் காங்கிரஸ் ஐக்கிய முற்போக்குக் கூட்டணியின் முக்கிய அங்கம் என்பதால் மட்டுமல்ல. தங்கள் ஆதரவில்தான் மத்திய அரசே ஆட்சியில் இருக்கிறது என்பதைத் துணிந்து உணர்த்தித் தனது மாநிலத்தின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு வேண்டியதை எல்லாம் கேட்டுப் பெறுகிறார் முதல்வர் மம்தா பானர்ஜி என்பதாலும்கூட!

 இதேபோலக் கேட்கும் துணிவு மத்திய கூட்டணியில் அங்கம் வகிக்கும் தமிழகக் கட்சிக்கும் இருந்திருக்குமேயானால், தமிழினப் படுகொலையே நேர்ந்திருக்காது என்பதை நாம் நினைவுகூராமல் இருக்க முடியவில்லை.

 இத்தகைய பாரபட்சமான நிலைமைகளைக் கடந்து, 2011-12 ஆம் ஆண்டில் இந்தியாவிலேயே வளர்ச்சி விகிதம் அதிகம் உள்ள மாநிலமாக பிகார் (13.1%) உள்ளது. தென்னிந்தியாவில் சிறப்பான வளர்ச்சி அடைந்த மாநிலமாகத் தமிழகம் (9.39%) திகழ்கிறது. ஒருவேளை, "தானே' புயல், மின்பற்றாக்குறை ஆகிய பிரச்னைகள் இல்லாதிருந்தால், பிகாரைப்போல மொத்த உற்பத்தியில் (ஜிடிபி) பிகார் மாநிலத்தை விஞ்சியதாக தமிழகம் இருந்திருக்கக்கூடும்.

 மத்திய அமைச்சரவையில் தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் அதிக எண்ணிக்கையில் இருந்தும்கூட, தமிழகத்தை ஜெயலலிதா ஆளும் மாநிலமாகப் பார்க்கின்ற போக்குதான் இருக்கிறதே தவிர, தமிழர் வாழும் மாநிலமாகப் பார்க்கவில்லை என்பதால்தான் மத்திய அரசு இவ்வளவு வெளிப்படையாகத் தமிழகத்தைப் புறக்கணிக்கிறது என்பதா, அல்லது கூட்டணியில் இருக்கும் மம்தா விருப்பத்தை மத்திய அரசு நிறைவேற்றுவதைப்போல கூட்டணியில் இருக்கும் தமிழகக் கட்சியின் விருப்பத்தை மத்திய அரசு நிறைவேற்றுகிறது என்பதா?

 அடுத்த பொதுத்தேர்தலில் யார் வேண்டுமானாலும், எந்தக் கட்சி வேண்டுமானாலும் ஆட்சிக்கு வரலாம். ஆனால், தமிழ்நாட்டில் தமிழர்கள்தான் இருப்பார்கள். தமிழகத்தின் வளர்ச்சி தமிழர் வளர்ச்சியாகத்தான் பார்க்கப்படும். இந்த உணர்வு தமிழகத்தில் எதிர்க்கட்சியாக இருக்கும் கட்சிகளுக்கும் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே, தமிழகத்தின் உரிமைகள் பாதுகாக்கப்படும்.

 ஒன்றுபட்டால் உண்டு வாழ்வே. நம்மில் ஒற்றுமை நீங்கிடில் அனைவர்க்கும் தாழ்வே!
